This model is an American with Cypriot Turkish heritage, and wearing Turkish clothing allows her to connect with her Turkish side. This outfit features Turkish şalvar and a tülbent headscarf. These traditional styles of Turkish clothing have been combined with a hoodie and a crop top, and the fusion of styles reflects the model’s multicultural identity. The model hopes to be represented as just of one of many people who identify with multiple cultures and backgrounds.
