I aimed to create a strong feeling of warmth and care by incorporating vibrant colors in this portrait of my mother. I used gouache on paper, and collage was added to emphasize the forms of the flowers in the image. My mother has always been extremely supportive of my interests and career goals, and this piece depicts her as a loving and supportive figure in my life.
